Alarm codes, rules and robot

Turn the pool alarm on and off

Note : Upon your arrival, the pool alarm is activated. Please do not dive in without deactivating it first to avoid triggering it.

How the Pool Alarm Works

  1. Activate the alarm (if completely deactivated — no light, no sound)
Enter the code: 2 4 8 1 → beeps for 15 seconds, indicating calibration and activation

  2. Temporarily deactivate (swimming mode — active for 9 min. or as long as presence is detected)
Enter the code: 2 4 8 1 → light changes from green (cross) to red (diving icon)

  3. Permanently deactivate (to reactivate, use procedure 1)
    Enter the sequence: 2 4 8 1 * 9 9 → all lights disappear, no sound when pressing buttons

Note : For any pool cleaning with the robot, remember to deactivate the alarm.

  • See the procedure outlined in point iii.

Note : If the alarm goes off, what should I do?

  • Act quickly and visually inspect the pool for any issues (such as a fallen object, animal, or person).
  • After addressing the situation, deactivate the siren by pressing any button.
Maintaining Perfect Water

La Mauricette offers you an environmentally friendly pool with an automatic regulation system. Its UV filtration system guarantees crystal-clear water with minimal levels of chlorine and salt.

A quick tutorial on the simple daily steps to keep your pool water crystal clear.

Essential Steps to Enjoy Perfect Water

We recommend performing these actions daily:

  1. Empty the skimmer baskets daily: note that plugs are used to manage overflow. These should be removed carefully and replaced once the basket has been put back in place.
  2. Remove leaves and other organic matter that have fallen to the bottom of the pool using the net
  3. Brush the bottom, sides, corners, and the base of the steps of the pool.
  4. After strong winds or once a week, we recommend using the Robot.

Note : Before swimming, please use the outdoor shower to rinse off excess sunscreen to keep the water perfect!

Using the Pool Robot

A quick 5-minute tutorial to learn how to use the pool robot.

Auto-settings for Your Comfort

  • Filtration runs from 7.30am to around 10pm with no intervention required
  • The pH level (7.4) is automatically maintained
  • An automatic water level control system tops up the pool as needed
  • The maximum temperature is regulated: above 28°C, a cooling system automatically activates to prevent excessive heat that could disrupt the water’s chemical balance.

Note : Although we do our utmost, during periods of intense heat the water’s chemical balance can become more fragile and traces of micro-algae may appear. To maintain clean water, it’s essential to shower before bathing, empty the skimmers daily, leave as little organic waste in the pool as possible and brush all areas where greenish discoloration might be visible.

Taking Care of the Terrace

The Var region is famous for its Mistral wind, and the nearby Baou hill just a few hundred meters above the house ensures a pleasant breeze even during the hottest summer days. However, the wind also brings its share of leaves and flowers. We recommend sweeping the terrace regularly to prevent plant debris from ending up in the pool.

Note : The terrace surrounding La Mauricette’s pool is made of Estaillade stone, a natural regional stone extracted from Provençal quarries. This local stone has a major advantage: it doesn’t heat up in the sun, allowing you to make the most of your stay.

Note : As Estaillade stone is porous, please rinse off any substances, liquids, or food that come into contact with the stone immediately to prevent permanent stains.

For your drinks by the water, dedicated tableware is provided.

In the laundry room, above the fouta cupboard, you’ll find a set of high-quality PET glasses. These glasses are not only colorful and stylish, but they’re also designed for safety — they won’t shatter if they fall on the stone, helping you avoid any dangerous shards around the pool. We hope you’ll enjoy using them for your refreshing drinks, especially with the Sodastream available in the same room.

Taking Care of the Pool Furniture

To help you make the most of the pool and the Provençal sun, we’ve provided the following furniture:

  • Four wooden lounge chairs with built-in tables and cushions
  • One daybed with mattress
  • Two Acapulco chairs
  • A parasol

Note : To protect the cushions from stains, please always use the foutas provided in the Cafoutche before settling in.
